#ReadPalestine week: "An Environmental Nakba: The climate crisis & the crisis in Gaza"
For #ReadPalestine week in December, Science for the People Philly brought community members together to discuss "An Environmental Nakba: The climate crisis & the crisis in Gaza," written by Palestinian scientists Mazin B. Qumsiyeh and Mohammed A. Abusarhan and published in Science for the People, Vol. 23.1. We had a great turnout at Making Worlds Bookstore, with a discussion focused on the intersections of the crisis in Palestine with climate and environmental justice, science, and colonialism among other issues. You can find and share a recording of the event here and on the Common Notions Press's YouTube page.
